Marconi Foundation Fund (ACS-CNR)

The National Research Council (CNR) fund, preserved at the Italian National Archive (ACS) in Rome, includes a series of few envelopes called “Marconi Foundation”, which contains relevant documentation regarding the years between 1937 and 1943. Giancarlo Dalle Donne has drawn up the inventory of such important fund. Within some months a digitized version of the inventory will be available through the portale Una Città per gli Archivi.

Marconi had a large-scale vision and great faith in the future world of the radio since the first years of its invention. With that vision, he wielded an immense suggestive power infusing great enthusiasm in his collaborators, who not once doubted the ultimate success of their teacher. |
