Marconi Foundation Fund (Pontecchio)

The institutional fund of the Marconi Foundation at Pontecchio Marconi, holds documents relative to the Foundation starting from 1947, and it is divided in fifteen series.

On June 6th 1999 the fund was declared to be “of notable historical interest” by the archival Superintendent of Emilia-Romagna, according to the following motivation:

It testifies the cultural and scientific activity carried out by the Foundation, which was established as a no-profit organization RD n. 4 1938 n. 354, as of 1939 it preserves testimonies of contacts established with relevant institutions and scholars with the scope of promoting and encouraging scholars and research inherent to radio-electricity.
