MARCONI JUNIOR DEGREE PRIZE |

Within the celebrations for the Guglielmo Marconi Nobel Prize centenary, the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation in cooperation with the Bordoni Foundation and AICT (Association for Information and Communication Technology) has announced the Degree Prize “Marconi Junior 2009”.
Regulations
- Candidates must submit their thesis by sending a written proposal (about 2 pages) to the Marconi Foundation by the final deadline of July 31st 2009. Such proposal shall give a brief description of their thesis, the date of presentation, vote and personal data of the candidate. The thesis must have been presented in the academic year 2007-2008 and the graduate must have been no more that 27 at the time of presentation.

The thesis subject shall be on Telecommunications or Electromagnetic Fields. Theses introducing technological innovation (technology or object) will be taken into high consideration.

The Prize board will choose 6 among the theses received by the stated deadline. These theses shall then be submitted in their complete texts in order to be finally judged.

The total amount of the prize is € 15.000, sponsored by the Marconi Foundation, the Ugo Bordoni Foundation and AICT. Such amount, after considering the technologies referred to in the theses, will be divided among two or more winners, with the aim of commemorating both Guglielmo Marconi and Antonio Meucci.
