Marconi Archives Fund

The fund, preserved at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, contains documentation starting from Marconi’s arrival in England in 1896, until the end of the following century.

Giancarlo Dalle Donne has drawn up a partial inventory of the impressive fund, by translating the already existing Bodleian Library’s inventory and integrating it with further information (Christie’s catalogue). pdf_button

Within some months a digitized version of the inventory will be available through the portal Una Città per gli Archivi.

Paolo Fabbrifabbri

I'd like to say that we reread Marconi beginning with the future. Speaking of Mc Luhan, we reread the present in the past; speaking instead about real time of electronics, we reread the past beginning with the future. The correct interpretation is that the future, through the present, moves towards the past. This is a new concept for humanity.
