Righi Collection

The Righi collection (1 envelope) includes a large number of newspaper clippings regarding Augusto Righi and Guglielmo Marconi.

It comes from an acquisition made on the antiquarian market (Libreria Docet, Bologna), whose owner certifies (as can also be deduced by the newspaper headings, sent in subscription) that it represents the ┬źnewspaper collection, on the invention of the radio, belonging to Augusto Righi┬╗.

Righi-Marconi Workshop

John A. Flemingfleming

Marconi had a large-scale vision and great faith in the future world of the radio since the first years of its invention. With that vision, he wielded an immense suggestive power infusing great enthusiasm in his collaborators, who not once doubted the ultimate success of their teacher.
