Marconi Day, traditionally celebrated on April 25^th (the scientist's birthday), was held this year on Saturday April 30^th, both to avoid overlapping with the Easter festivities and to link the remembrance of Marconi to the prestigious awarding of the double milestone IEEE (April 29^th).
