Induzione elettrostatica: è quel fenomeno per cui se si avvicina un corpo conduttore ad un corpo carico, sulla superficie del conduttore vicina al corpo carico appaiono cariche elettriche di segno opposto rispetto a quelle del corpo carico. Il fenomeno scompare se il conduttore viene allontanato dal corpo carico.
